Open the binder cover file in Adobe Reader (a free program)
Adobe Reader is a free program that you need to edit our editable files. Most computers come with Adobe Reader installed already. However, if you don’t have Adobe Reader you can download it for free here. If you have a Mac, then Adobe Reader will not come installed on your computer. Macs have their own PDF readers called Preview which comes installed on your Mac. You cannot use Preview on your Mac to edit the files. You must use Adobe Reader or the editable fields will not work.
Once you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, open the binder file that you saved from our site in Adobe Reader.
Edit the binder cover file in Adobe Reader
The text fields in our binder cover files are editable. Once you have the file opened in Adobe Reader, click in the text fields in the file and edit the text to your own text.
Print the binder cover
After your have edited the text, print the binder cover. Our binder covers print on 8.5″x11″ letter sized paper. This is the printer that we use and recommend to print our files. If you don’t have a printer, you can also have the files printed at your local copy shops.
Place the binder cover in the front insert of your binder
After you have printed the binder covers, all you need to do is slip the sheets into the front (and back) of your binders. We recommend these white binders that have clear plastic overlays and allow for sheets to inserted into them.
