How to Make Gift Tags

Most people put a lot of thought into what gifts to give their loved ones, but often forget about the small details that can make a big impact. Gift tags are a perfect example. A well-designed gift tag can show that you put time and effort into selecting the right gift, and make it more personal. Here are some tips on how to make gift tags.

Download and edit the tags using our online customizer

We have a wide range of printable tags. We have tags in different shapes including square, circle and rectangle. We also have different designs for a wide range of different occasions. Our printable tags are editable with the online customizer, Corjl. Corjl is the online customizer program that we use to deliver our digital editable files.

You will open the link in the email to access the digital and editable file. You will be able to click right in the file on the text to edit it. Once you are done editing the file, you will download it. Corjl has many download options. It has an option to print multiples to one page or to download the single file. We are going to select the option to print multiples to one page since we are going to be cutting the tags out with scissors.

Print the gift tags

Once you have downloaded the file, you will print the tags. You can print on your home printer or have it printed at your local print shop. We suggest printing these on cardstock paper. Cardstock paper is best for gift tags because it is nice and thick. If you're in the market for a great printer to print printables, then we recommend the Canon TS9521C All-In-One Wireless Crafting Photo Printer. We love this printer because of the quality of the printing and it's ability to print borderless.

Cut out the tags

Once you've printed the tags, you will cut out the tags with a pair of scissors. You will use a hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the tags.
